WELCOME TO OUR NEW LOOK HOMEPAGE
So where do you begin when you want to plan your night out in the City, Canberra’s largest “after dark” playground? CEO of Canberra CBD Limited, Steve Gregory, believes planning your City adventure has just become easier thanks to our new home page.
Steve Gregory says “there hasn’t been one website to go to and most people rely on local knowledge or feedback from friends as to where to go and what to do in the City.” He adds, “Braddon is also becoming a favourite destination after dark and the offerings from restaurants and bars is among the best in the Capital.”
Canberra CBD Ltd approached OutInCanberra about the possibility of capturing everything city related into one area and then embedding that into the organisation’s homepage. “The end result is fantastic” comments Steve Gregory, who says “visitors to the new home page can now search venues, view events, read feature articles and browse social photos.”
The site also contains links to leading venues around the city such as The Canberra Theatre, Dendy Cinemas, Street Theatre, National Convention Centre & Royal Theatre, Canberra Museum and Gallery, Casino Canberra plus events and exhibitions. You can link to Government services information, view public art, and even search residential and commercial property listings.
The “Recent News” section allows organisations holding an event in the city to promote it. We also post news items on city improvements, property developments, charities and ACT Government projects. Information on upcoming events can be emailed to info@canberracbdlimited.com.au. Those wanting updates can also follow Canberra CBD Ltd on Facebook and Twitter. Keep up to date with OutInCanberra.
“If you have a great photo in the City, or a photo of the City from yesteryear, send it in and it could end up posted on our website,” says Steve Gregory. He adds, “the site already contains some historical photos of Canberra but we are always looking to build our collection.”
