There is always something going on in the City. Canberra CBD Limited presents a programme of entertainment during the year.
Floriade in the City
September – October 2011
The City comes alive in Spring, Canberra CBD Limited will again install the large tulips to promote Floriade, along with banners to add some colour around the City. Floriade last year celebrated the theme of Imagination. Musical guests included Katie Noonan and the Captains, along with Felicity Urquhart and daily lunchtime concerts by the ANU School of Music. As usual, punters were enchanted by street performers, dancers and comedians, and the giant 35 metre ferris wheel, providing unbeatable views across the city.
The popular NightFest will be back again in 2011 – stay tuned for more details. View our link to the Floriade website for program information.
