Chief Executive Officer – Linda Staite
Linda has been with Canberra CBD Limited since 1 February 2008 and as the first CEO has been responsible for the many initiatives that are now underway by the company.
She first came to Canberra in 1966 attending North Ainslie Primary, Dickson High and the Woden Valley High (now the Woden CIT). Although her working career began at the Canberra Times she later joined Lend Lease as the Marketing Manager at Monaro Mall, when David Jones was the only Department Store in the Centre.
Linda spent 15 years in the shopping centre industry, marketing centres in Darwin and Brisbane before joining AMP Shopping Centres as the National Marketing Manager. During that time she was very involved with BOMA (now the Property Council of Australia) chairing the marketing education courses and examinations.
On Linda’s return to Canberra she joined Questacon as their Marketing Manager and later as Deputy Director – Marketing and Operations. Linda was responsible for many marketing initiatives at Questacon taking the visitor numbers from a low of 280,000 to 420,000 pa. While president of NCAA (National Capital Attractions Association Linda was awarded an Honorary Ambassador role By the Chief Minister Jon Stanhope.
Business Liaison Manager – Nicci Foulsham
Nicci Foulsham joined Canberra CBD Limited as the Business Liaison Manager in February 2009. She came with extensive experience in sales and marketing at both management and hands-on level, in New Zealand (in tourism and for Air Pacific) and in London (where she had an UK-Europe sales role for Ansett NZ and Air Pacific).
Immediately before arriving in Canberra, she had eight years living in France, where she managed a small portfolio of investment properties (in France, London and NZ). Her hands-on can-do nature came to the fore there as she oversaw property renovations (and did plenty of the hard yakka herself) and short and long-term marketing of them. She loves a challenge and engaging with people from all walks of life. She has a strong creative streak, so lots of ideas about the possibilities for Canberra’s City Centre area.
