Each Wednesday evening throughout April, the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) will take you through the darkened corridors and alleyways of classic film noir, from filmmakers who were controversially blacklisted in the 1950s (and beyond) because of their suspected communist sympathies during the Blacklisted Hollywood screening program.

The weekly screenings of rare, cult and otherwise little-seen cinema treasures from around the world feature exclusive restorations, 35mm and 16mm prints from the NFSA collection and international archives and are presented in association with the NFSA Friends.
