A ‘Taste of Braddon’ coming soon in 2017

Hold on to your hats, the team at In The City Canberra are working on something big!

Mark your calendar as Taste of Braddon will run in Haig Park from Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 November 2017, celebrating absolutely everything that circulates in and around our beloved Lonsdale Street.

Grab your friends, partners and kids for a fun weekend in the park where you will be guaranteed food, wine and next level entertainment.

Taste of Braddon will be a jam-packed weekend celebrating everything that we love about our beloved burb’ from Summernats and car yards, to our recently transformed hipster hub.

Think burgers and beer, wine and cheese, live music and art. There will also be some exciting additions including Dachshund, Pug and Poodle races – even goat yoga!

The ‘Braddon Food and Wine Frolic’ will specifically appease the pallets of all wine lovers out there. A secluded area of the festival where you and your friends can enjoy some divine wine tastings.

Make sure you arrive with an empty belly! Braddon’s favourite restaurants will be cooking up a storm, bringing you something sweet, savoury and anything in between!

November will be bringing warmer weather (finally!), so what better way to kick summer off than to sip on some cold crisp lagers whilst listening to the sound of sweet tunes in the park?

Initial planning has already begun for the event with key community partners. For updates on planning during the months ahead, follow In The City Canberra’s Twitter and Facebook pages, or sign up to our newsletter.

Remember to register your dachshund, poodle, or pug to enter the Taste of Braddon dog races before October 2017.

See you at Haig Park for a Taste of Braddon – coming soon!
